Samson Deen, President of the Ghana Paralympic Committee, clarified statements by Ghana’s amputee National Team Coach regarding the purchase of jerseys from Katamanto for the Amputee African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The coach had mentioned buying jerseys, but Deen explained that this was for training and pre-tournament matches, not for the tournament itself.

He also stated that the team wore jerseys provided by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after reaching out for national jerseys.

Deen emphasized the GFA has consistently supplied kits since 2021. Upon clarification, the coach acknowledged the mistake and committed to correcting it publicly.
