Mohammed Kudus has voiced significant remorse regarding his red card during West Ham's 4-1 defeat to Tottenham last month, as his suspension has now been extended by two more games.

Van de Ven claimed that Kudus "punched him in the face," and Pape Matar Sarr was also pushed by Kudus. Although Kudus was initially shown a yellow card, it was later changed to a red card after a VAR review, resulting in an automatic three-match ban.
Following a thorough investigation, the FA added two more games to his suspension and imposed a £60,000 fine. In a letter to the regulatory commission, Kudus expressed feeling "deeply embarrassed" by his actions and accepted the charges against him.
He described his behavior as "out of character" and noted that while he couldn't remember all the details of the incident, video evidence indicated only slight contact with Van de Ven. Kudus also mentioned the personal and professional difficulties he encountered leading up to the match, including negative social media comments and a recent international trip.
He has already missed games against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest and will also be absent for West Ham's next match against Everton.
