Ghana U20 head coach Desmond Ofei expresses optimism that his key striker, Jerry Afriyie, will land a transfer to a prominent European club after his impressive showings at the 2024 WAFU B U20 Championship.

Afriyie earned accolades as both the Best Player of the Tournament and Top Scorer in the recently concluded event in Togo.

The Thoughts FC forward played a crucial role in guiding Ghana to the final, where they ended as runners-up, thereby qualifying for the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
