Ghana coach Otto Addo has responded to criticism following the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

The team earned just three points in five matches, confirming their elimination before their final qualifier against Niger. Their 1-1 draw with Angola last Friday sealed their fate, marking Ghana's first AFCON absence since 2004.

Speaking ahead of the Niger match, Addo defended his credentials, citing his experience working under top coaches like Jürgen Klopp and Matthias Sammer. He acknowledged the poor results, admitting, “People can judge me by my results, which were not good.”

Despite growing calls for his resignation, the Ghana Football Association has not signaled any immediate changes, leaving Addo’s position uncertain amidst public disappointment.
