Ibrahim Sannie Daara, the former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has expressed his disappointment with the GFA's Executive Council for not publicly supporting President Kurt Okraku and the organization amid recent criticisms.

In an interview with Asempa FM, Sannie Daara urged the Executive Council to actively defend both Okraku and the GFA.
He noted that the current council's lack of involvement contrasts sharply with past administrations, where members like George Afriyie, Osei Palmer, and Kojo Yankah played significant roles in supporting Kwesi Nyantakyi.
He pointed out that since the Black Stars' last match against Sudan, no council member has publicly defended Okraku or the GFA.
Sannie Daara reminisced about the solidarity shown by the Executive Council during difficult times, such as before and after the Anas exposé, and called for a similar united front to support Okraku's leadership.
