Inkoom happy with MLS move

Ghana international Samuel Inkoom is excited at the prospect of playing in America after joining DC United.

Inkoom joined DC United on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Ukrainian side Dnipro.

The 25-year-old, who has attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs in the past, is relishing starting a new chapter in his career in Major League Soccer.

“My family and I are very excited about this move and new chapter in my career in the USA,” Inkoom told Sky Sports.

“DC United is the most successful club in American soccer’s history and we are determined to continue this tradition by winning the League this year

“With the quality and spirit I have seen in the team, there is no reason that we cannot achieve this.”
