Inkoom has high hopes for upcoming season

Samuel Inkoom’s pre-season with Boavista is on that he will relish forever after another impressive display to help his side post a 2-0 victory over Rebordosa AC.

The Ghanaian played the entire duration of the game and grabbed an assist on the 73rd minutes with a trade mark cross that was planted on the head of Michael Uchebo for Boavista’s second goal and ultimate winner.

Before that Ancelmo Junior has already shot coach Armando Texeira’s side ahead with a lovely drilled strike.

Inkoom joined Boavista earlier in the summer after a troubled stint with DC United in the MLS.

The former Basel and Dnipro defenders says confidence is sky high going into a potential career defining season.

“Great victory today and the lads played with their heart again,” Inkoom said

“Cant wait for the season to begin.”

Inkoom was a member of Ghana’s world cup team in Brazil but failed to step up from the bench to play a part as Ghana crashed out at the group stage.
