Black Stars midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp is set to undergo a scan to ascertain the extent of a hamstring injury he picked up while on the international break with Ghana.
Schlupp, a late addition to the Ghana squad, was substituted in the first half of Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Ethiopia after suffering a hamstring injury.
The Crystal Palace midfielder, who wouldn’t have featured in Ghana’s clash against South Africa due to Covid-19 restrictions, returned to London on Monday, where Crystal Palace’s team doctors will assess him.
The 28- year-old has suffered several injuries over the past few years, and Palace faithful will be hoping the injury isn’t serious.
