Ghana defender John Paintsil will play his first game for Maritzburg United tonight against Fatawu Dauda’s Chippa United in the South African top flight.
The Ghanaian players on either side are set to make their debuts for their respective clubs having received their work permits.
Paintsil joined Maritzburg United this summer and will be teaming up with fellow Ghanaian defender Awal Mohammed in defence in tonight’s game.
