Judo championship on Nov. 4

Accra Nov. 1, GNA - The Ghana Judo Association (GJA) in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy is organising a national Judo championship next Saturday.

The championship dubbed the 8th Japanese Ambassador Judo championship is to be held under the distinguish patronage of his Excellency, the Japanese Ambassador.

The event, which will take place on Saturday, November 4, at the Civil Servants Association Hall at Ministries in Accra will begin at 8:00 am and end at 5:00 pm.

A release signed by Partick Anyidoho Cofie, General Secretary of GJA said over 130 competitors drawn from all Judo clubs across the country would participate in the championship. It said certificates would be awarded to all participants.
