Judo team for All Africa Games released

Accra, Aug. 1, GNA - The General Secretary of Ghana Karate Association, Mr Andrews K. Ocloo, on Friday released the final list of a ten member National Judo Team expected to represent the nation in this year's All African Games slated for Nigeria in October. The players are Jawam Ladasua, Daniel Babakiya, Aminu Nartey, Kojo Twum Baah, Eugene St. Omar.

Others are Gabriel Appiah, Dalad Fusseini, Yusifu Yidana, George Avornyo, and Bruce Adjaho.

The final selection was done through series of competitions held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The General Secretary appealed to organisations and the government to assist the association saying it is only the Japan Association of Ghana Students Alumna (JAAGAH) which has been supporting their numerous Judo competitions.
