Boateng made his comeback from a long injury lay-off as he replaced Alexander Merkel in the 74th and was on field when Pato scored the winning goal
The Ghanaian international has been out of action for several weeks with a recurring groin problem and is an important boost for the Serie A leaders.
His services are needed considering Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini, Marek Jankulovski and Gianluca Zambrotta are absent.
