Ghana FA’s Head of Public Relations and Strategy, Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, has refuted claims that President Kurt Okraku is seeking a third term, advising the public to regard these assertions as unfounded until an official announcement is made.
Armstrong-Mortagbe highlighted that Okraku, who began his first term in 2019 after a competitive election and was re-elected unopposed in 2023, has reiterated his commitment to completing his duties within the remaining three years of his current term.
He emphasized on Connect 97.1 FM that the notion of a third term is speculative and should be considered a rumour until credible evidence or an official statement emerges.
