LASSIA Judo at Tema

Accra, Sep. 19. GNA=97 The First LASSIA Judo Open Championship comes off at the Chemu Secondary School at Tema on Saturday, September 23. Mr. Patrick Anyidoho, Secretary-General of the Ghana Judo Association who announced this in Accra said about 130 players from all over the country are expected to participate in the competition. He said the event, which is being sponsored by LASSIA, a Tema based Greek Fishing company, is part of the association's effort at promoting the sport in the country.
The first six winners in every category, would receive handsome prizes and added that certificate of participation would be distributed to the participants.
