Moses Foh-Amoaning calls for unity amid Black Stars horrendous performances

Ghanaian lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning has urged unity to address the Black Stars' struggles following their dismal 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign.

The team failed to win any of their six matches, finishing last in Group F and missing the tournament for the first time in 21 years.

Criticism has mounted, with calls for the dissolution of both the team and its technical staff. However, Foh-Amoaning emphasized that success can only come through cohesion within the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and national solidarity. "We must bring the GFA and the whole nation together; that’s the only way we can turn things around," he stated.

The GFA is deliberating on the future of head coach Otto Addo, with a final decision expected on November 27. The Black Stars will shift focus to 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March 2025.
