In a discussion with Graphic Sports, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe expressed his determination, stating, “I will not permit anyone to interfere with the GFA statute after the efforts I made to ensure that the position is determined by merit through elections.

“I was instrumental in establishing the two-term limit for the FA presidency, and I will not allow anyone to undermine this statute for their own interests."
He added, “Should they try to modify the tenure, I will oppose it vigorously. It was my suggestion that led the FA to implement this policy.”
