Saanie, in an interview with Angel FM, advised newly-elected GFA boss, Kurt Okraku to be wary of such attacks and seek spiritual backing in his spell as FA boss.
The ex-BBC reporter recounted how a former minister had to exhume the body of a goat to enable the Black Stars secure victory over Egypt in 2013.
"There were people in the GFA who were consulting known spiritualists just to ensure that the Kwesi Nyantakyi administration failed. They were planting concoctions and burying animals just to see Ghana lose matches.
“Just before the 2014 World Cup qualifier versus Egypt in Kumasi, we got wind that these people buried a goat at the Airport Roundabout. It took a Sports minister to go and uproot it before we beat Egypt by 6-1. All they wanted was to see Kwesi Nyantakyi fail and come under criticisms".
Kurt Okraku got the nod to lead the GFA after a four-round voting exercise last Friday. One of his immediate assignments is to find a vice president for the association.
Among the names that have emerged as favourites for the post is Medeama board chairman Toni Aubynn who confirmed his interest in an interview with Asempa FM on Tuesday.
""If I was the President and have the power, I would have chosen someone with no Presidential ambition as my Vice President. My primary interest was to be a member of the EXCO, however, if I'm given another responsibility, I will gladly accept it. If I'm supposed to vie for the Vice President position I would because I have the experience to do the job. However, being the Vice President is not a world cup for me."
The 12-member Executive Council will elect a new person to deputize President Kurt Okraku in the coming days.
