Otto Addo is even disappointed in himself - Laryea Kingston

Former Black Starlets coach Laryea Kingston believes Black Stars coach Otto Addo is deeply disappointed in himself after Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The team failed to win any of their six qualifiers, finishing with a shocking defeat to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium, marking Ghana's first AFCON absence in 20 years.

Despite growing calls for Addo's dismissal, Kingston argues against making a rushed decision. He stated that Addo is likely reflecting on the situation and will strive to improve. Kingston urged for continuity, expressing faith in Addo’s ability to turn things around.

Ghana has an opportunity for redemption in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where they currently sit second in Group I after four matches.
