Michael Amoo Bediako, a prominent figure in Ghanaian boxing promotion, has criticized Ghanaian boxing authorities for failing to qualify any boxers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Despite seven participants, including one female, no Ghanaian boxer secured a spot during the World Olympic Qualifiers in Bangkok.

Bediako labeled the situation as "criminal," calling for immediate leadership changes to address issues in amateur boxing. He stressed the importance of investing in amateur programs to produce professional boxers capable of competing internationally.

Bediako's frustration reflects the disappointment in the sports community, as boxing has historically been a key medal-winning discipline for Ghana at the Olympics.
