Paris 2024: Meet 11-year-old heading to Olympics

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will feature notable athletes like 50-year-old Brit Andy Macdonald in skateboarding and 11-year-old Chinese skateboarder Zheng Haohao, who will be the youngest Olympian.

Haohao secured her spot through Pre-Olympic Skating events in Shanghai and Budapest.

She aims to become the youngest summer Olympic medalist, potentially breaking the record set by Marjorie Gestring in 1936.

The youngest competitor and medalist in Olympic history remains Dimitrios Loundras of Greece, who won a bronze in gymnastics at 10 years old in 1896.
