Paris 2024: Rose Yeboah books Olympic qualification in historic night in Eugene

Ghanaian high jumper Rose Yeboah has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics with a 1.97m jump at the NCAA Championship in Eugene, Oregon, claiming the collegiate title.

Representing the University of Illinois, Yeboah set multiple records, including a new national, NCAA, collegiate, school, meet, and personal record, surpassing her previous best of 1.94m.

This win adds to her impressive achievements, including an African Games gold medal in March 2024, an African Senior Athletics Champion title from 2022, and a World University Champion title from 2023.

She joins Abdul-Rasheed Saminu as the second Ghanaian to qualify for the Olympics from the NCAA Championships.
