Tennis icon Rafael Nadal has revealed his plans to retire from professional tennis at the conclusion of this season.
The 22-time Grand Slam winner will make his last appearance for Spain at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga in November 2024.
In an emotional video message, the 38-year-old discussed his decision to leave the sport after facing injuries over the past two years.
Nadal stated, "I am here to let you know I am retiring from professional tennis. The reality is that it has been some difficult years, especially the last two. I don’t think I have been able to play without limitations."
