Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has arrived in Sudan to complete a move to top-flight side Al Hilal, Ghanasportsonline.com reports.
After spells with Basel, DC United, Boavista and Antalyaspor, the former Ghana u20 star has decided to move to North Africa to ply his trade.
Inkoom recently ended a short-term deal with Bulgarian club Vereya but has been clubless since June 2017 when his contract came to an end.
He is expected to complete his move to Al Hilal where he will be joining former Ghana Premier League top scorer Augustine Okrah.
The 26-year-old having shot to fame after winning the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup with the Black Satellites secured himself a big offer to join Swiss giants FC Basel from Ghanaian powerhouse Asante Kotoko.
He represent Ghana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa where he featured in games against Germany, USA and Uruguay.
The defender was also part of Ghana’s team at the 2014 edition of the competition in Brazil but failed to make any appearance.
