We must bring back Milo Championships – John Mahama

Former President and NDC Flagbearer John Mahama has called for the revival of inter-schools football tournaments and the Milo Championships in Ghana.

Speaking at a town hall meeting with youth at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Mahama emphasized the importance of these competitions in developing football talent, noting that they produced stars like Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan.

He urged stakeholders to reinstate these events to help nurture future footballers.

Mahama also expressed concern over Ghana's disappointing recent Africa Cup of Nations performances, advocating for better organization and integration of local and foreign players to restore success.
