2027: I never said I’ll be Vice President to anyone – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, has denied reports that he plans to run as a vice-presidential candidate in 2027.

Responding to the rumors on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Obi clarified that he remains focused on serving Nigerians through the Labour Party.

He emphasized that his openness to collaboration depends on shared values and a genuine commitment to addressing issues like hunger, poverty, and insecurity.

Obi also reiterated that any future political decisions will align with his vision for Nigeria’s progress, not with those solely focused on political power.
