Nigeria bans use of foreign models and voiceovers for local adverts

Authorities in Nigeria have announced a ban on the use of foreign models and voiceovers in adverts.

The move is said to be in line with protecting local talent and boosting the economy.

The Ministry of Information posted the announcement on Twitter, stating that the ban comes into effect in October.

The ban does not apply to "ongoing"
