South African prosecutors have decided not to pursue criminal charges against President Cyril Ramaphosa over the 2020 farm theft scandal at his Phala Phala farm, where $4 million was allegedly stolen.

A former spy chief accused Ramaphosa of hiding the theft, money laundering, and tax evasion.

Ramaphosa denied wrongdoing, stating the money came from legitimate buffalo sales.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) found insufficient evidence to charge him after a thorough investigation.

However, three individuals accused of the break-in will face charges in court next month.
