Sudanese army airstrikes in Khartoum have killed at least 23 people and injured over 40, targeting a camp of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the city’s south.
The strikes hit the central market and nearby residential areas, impacting traders and locals.
The ongoing civil war between the military and RSF has led to 150,000 deaths and displaced one-fifth of Sudan's population, according to UN estimates.
Hospitals are overwhelmed with the injured.
The situation worsens as fighting escalates, with accusations against the UAE for supporting the RSF, which it denies.
