Stop comparing me to others – Adekunle Gold warns

Singer Adekunle Gold has cautioned social media users to desist from comparing him to other musicians.

He thanked God for making him stubborn if not he would have listened to some trolls who trashed his music.

Adekunle said this while recounting how people ridiculed his work when he dropped his album in 2018.

According to him, his strong-willed spirit helped him to stay grounded as people described that album as his best work yet.

“Opelope Stubborn and coconut head, I for don listen to some of una.

"I remember when I released “Call of Me” The criticism I got was crazy. I dropped About 30, most of you didn’t even listen for yourself but you bashed it (only to come back around to say it’s my best work yet)”, he said.

He urged followers to stop the comparison, saying; “Finally, stop comparing me to anyone and all that your shit polls need to stop.

“I am cut from a different cloth, NOBODY LIKE ME! I can do what they do, they can’t do what I do. Thank you to everyone rocking with me. All my love,” he added.
