11-year-old singer calls for peace in ‘Sound of Unity’ hit song

An 11-year-old Ghanaian student, Minhyira Morrison (Chayil Muziq), has released a song, The Sound of Unity, promoting peace ahead of Ghana's December 7, 2024, elections.

The song urges political leaders to ensure peaceful conduct during the polls and features messages from notable figures like Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Francis-Xavier Sosu.

Minhyira’s father, Joojo Morrison, expressed pride in the project, encouraging parents to support children with artistic interests and highlighting the song’s call for a safe, united Ghana where youth can thrive.
