George Jahraa blasts music industry over ‘Adaadamu’ tag for veterans

Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician George Jahraa criticized the term “Adaadamu,” used for older musicians, as demeaning.

In a recent interview, he highlighted that iconic artists like Bob Marley aren’t labeled as “old” in Jamaica.

Jahraa urged for greater respect and regular recognition of Ghana’s legendary musicians and their contributions.
