Guru wins University of Ghana SRC election

Ghanaian musician Guru won the University of Ghana SRC presidential election with 50.7% of the vote, defeating Emmanuel Owusu Amponsah.

Initially disqualified for not being a campus resident, his disqualification was overturned by the Appeals Board.

Guru will lead the SRC for the 2024/25 academic year.
