After trading punches in the first two rounds, a heavy punch from Ahmed landed a cut on Ramirez's face but the latter overcame that setback to win the fight dominating in the last three rounds.


Ramírez, a two-fisted super middleweight wrecking machine, made history on April 9, 2016, when he became México's first fighter to win a super middleweight world title over the defending WBO champion Arthur Abraham, a-three-time world champion in his own right.



Ramirez has now defended his title for three times defeating Max "Tiger" Bursak, followed up by another impressive unanimous decision victory, this time over undefeated No. 1 contender and mandatory challenger Jesse Hart.
