Over 25 Ghanaian journalists are attending the 29th Conference of Parties (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, sponsored by the Jospong Group of Companies/Zoomlion Ghana Limited.

The conference, focused on "Accelerating Action, Unlocking Opportunities," aims to enhance the journalists’ understanding of climate change, covering topics like mitigation, adaptation, and climate financing.

This initiative, which also supported journalists at COP28 in Dubai, highlights Jospong’s commitment to strengthening climate advocacy through media engagement.

Sophia Kudjordji, Jospong’s Chief Communications Officer, emphasized the media’s role in climate reporting and public education.

Journalists, including Ebenezer Appiah Kubih, praised the group’s support, calling for greater inclusion of media in government-led climate discussions.

This effort aims to improve Ghana’s media literacy on climate change, empowering communities to adopt resilience strategies.
