Alhaji Yakubu-Tali and his management team introduced a transformative two-year corporate strategy in 2023, driving significant improvements in ADB's performance. The bank's focus on enhancing operations has led to the recovery of over GH¢500 million in non-performing loans from January to September 2024. Additionally, customer deposits have seen remarkable growth, surging by GH¢3.4 billion—from GH¢7.747 billion in September 2023 to GH¢11.147 billion.
ADB’s Q3 2024 unaudited financial results reflect its strong performance, recording a profit after tax of GH¢111.827 million, a major improvement compared to the GH¢2.040 million profit in Q3 2023. The bank’s liquidity ratio rose from 91.94% to 125.55%, and total assets grew by GH¢4.5 billion. Its capital adequacy ratio also improved, moving from 1.35% to 8.26%, with expectations to meet the 10% regulatory requirement by year’s end.
