ADB announces GH¢ 1m cash award for national best farmer for 40th National Farmers’ Day celebration

Madam Eno Ofori-Atta, Deputy Managing Director of Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB), announced a GHS 1 million cash prize for the overall National Best Farmer at the upcoming 40th National Farmers’ Day Celebration.

ADB, as the lead sponsor, will also host a Welcome Cocktail and a Farmers’ Forum to support innovations in agriculture.

The initiative emphasizes the importance of adapting to climate change and enhancing food security.

Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Yaw Frempong Addo, thanked ADB for its long-standing support and encouraged continued investment in agricultural financing for Ghana’s development.
