The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has recovered over GH¢500 million in non-performing loans (NPLs) in just nine months, as part of its aggressive recovery strategy.
From January to September 2024, the bank reclaimed GH¢514.99 million, mostly from legacy bad loans. This success stems from resourcing its Recovery Department and a broader recapitalization effort.
Managing Director Alhassan Yakubu-Tali praised the recovery initiative for boosting shareholder value and financial stability.
General Manager Sylvia Nyante noted the recovery’s positive impact and stressed the bank’s commitment to recovering all historical NPLs and maintaining strong risk management.
