CIMG Awards: Dr. Daniel Mckorley wins Marketing Man of the Year

Arguably one of the most successful businessmen in Ghana, Dr. Mckorley started the McDan Shipping Company in 1999 with its headquarters in Accra. The McDan Shipping Company has presence in over 2000 major air and seaports worldwide with partnership with World Cargo Alliance (WCA) and JC Trans.

Speaking to the media after the event, Dr. Mckorley expressed his gratitude and urged entrepreneurs to work hard to achieve goals they set out for themselves.

According to him, in order to reduce the unemployment rate in the country, he is ready to help build and mentor young entrepreneurs who are finding difficulties starting up their businesses.

At this year’s event, Managing Director of Internet Solution; Yvette Atekpe also emerged as the Marketing Woman of the Year, Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem also won Best Morning Show.

Other award winners in the Personalities category include David Afflu, Business Unit Director, PZ Cussons who picked up Marketing Practitioner of the year and John Kafui Kwame Klu, Marketing Student of the year, 2017
