Read full articleof the view that "investments will necessarily slow down in countries like Ghana or other countries in the world that have become tightly connected with the Chinese economy,” he told Citi business news.
He continued that “there will be a slowing flow of resources because the Chinese government has directed a lot of its focus in trying to contain the disease. It will take some doing over a period to get back to the old order of things.”
He called on Ghanaians to be on the watch and not be taken aback should there be a drastic slowdown in investments between the country and China.
Over 800 people have been confirmed dead whilst about 40,000 people have been reported to have been affected by the coronavirus disease in China and its environs.
However, persons who leave China to Ghana will go through a 14-day quarantine process at strategic health centres before they are cleared and allowed to move freely in the country.
