Empowering local filmmaking – Amoanimaa’s Era sets standard

MultiChoice Ghana’s management team visited the set of Amoanimaa’s Era, an epic series filmed in Konko village, Eastern Region, to reinforce support for local storytelling and talent.

The project has engaged residents, including retired headmaster Master Okyere for subtitling, while providing various roles to community members.

Managing Director Alex Okyere praised the community's embrace of the production, reflecting MultiChoice’s commitment to Ghanaian content.

Amoanimaa’s Era, airing on Akwaaba Magic, follows an earth goddess navigating family rivalry and modern life, showcasing Ghanaian culture and storytelling to audiences across Africa.
