Ghana's power supply is expected to stabilize following a new agreement between the government and Independent Power Producer Sunon Asogli.

This deal addresses power disruptions caused by ECG's significant debt, amounting to $259 million as of September 2024, which led to the shutdown of Sunon Asogli’s 560-megawatt plant since October 16.
