Papa Kwesi Nduom, Founder and President of Group Nduom, alleged that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and his team were responsible for collapsing Ghana's economy.
Nduom criticized Ofori-Atta’s management of the nation’s finances, claiming that a small group, led by the former minister, controlled and weakened the financial and investment sectors.
He challenged Ofori-Atta to publicly deny these allegations. In his weekly "Disappointed but not Discouraged" Facebook segment, Nduom frequently discusses Ghana’s economic state and suggests reforms.
He further accused the government of targeting his businesses, including GN Bank, Gold Coast Securities, and production firms, during a 2018 banking sector cleanup, suggesting the closures were politically motivated as he is not affiliated with the ruling New Patriotic Party.
