The CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, announced that the Ghanaian government spends about GH¢9,000 on each student in the Free Senior High School (SHS) program.
This investment ensures accessible education for all. Additionally, over GH¢9,000 is allocated per Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) student, reflecting the specialized resources needed for practical training.
Nkansah emphasized that these programs are vital for developing skills and reducing inequality, ultimately supporting national development and innovation.
He believes the long-term benefits of these educational investments will surpass their costs.
