Loopholes hindering passage of Grains Development Authority Bill – MP

George Kwabena Obeng Takyi, MP for Manso Nkwanta, highlighted challenges in passing the Grains Development Authority Bill during a consultative meeting in Kumasi.

He noted that the bill aims to enhance Ghana's grain production and storage but faces obstacles requiring amendments to address existing issues.

Takyi emphasized the importance of correcting these "ills" to ensure the bill aligns with current agricultural processes and meets the aspirations of the people.

He urged the agricultural committee to focus on improvements that would support the development of the agricultural sector.
