Louis Lamis, CEO of Liezer-Legacy Productions, urged the government to create better environments for young creatives, criticizing unfulfilled promises to the creative industry.
He emphasized the need for a holistic approach, from training writers to ensuring platforms for showcasing content, and highlighted issues like weak copyright enforcement and poor royalty systems.
Speaking at the 2024 Level UP seminar, Lamis discussed the struggles creatives face.
Dr. Shalom Addo-Danso, the founder of the ASOR mentoring network, stressed the importance of youth understanding concepts for graduate studies, while Adwoa Pomaa Danquah encouraged adopting soft skills post-graduation.
