MTN Ghana launches sustainability week, reflects on its sustainability journey

MTN Ghana has launched its first-ever Sustainability Week under the theme “Sustainability: Our Collective Responsibility,” focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

The event began with the unveiling of an electric car and motorbike, alongside a display of MTN's solar energy and renewable resource initiatives.

CEO Stephen Blewett highlighted the importance of sustainability for future generations, urging MTN employees to adopt sustainable practices.

Adwoa Afriyie Wiafe, Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer, emphasized that the week is crucial for advancing MTN’s Ambition 2025 goals.

Activities like "Lunch and Learn," "Eco Talk," and "Bright Conversations" aim to reflect on MTN's sustainability efforts and inspire positive change. The company is committed to raising awareness on environmental and social issues, reinforcing its dedication to sustainable development.
