McDan Group CEO unveils vision for African Logistics Transformation at CILT conference

At the CILT Conference, Dr. Daniel McKorley, Founder and CEO of McDan Group, outlined his vision for transforming Africa's logistics sector through local ownership and innovation.

He emphasized logistics as a vital growth engine, highlighting McDan's response to COVID-19 by distributing essential goods in Ghana.

McKorley announced plans for Ghana's first privately-owned port in collaboration with the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, advocating for increased local control over logistics infrastructure.

He also discussed partnerships with AfCFTA and a billion-dollar deal with Kenya, aiming to operate over 100 vessels to enhance Africa's maritime logistics landscape.
