Netherlands to invest €4m in Ghana’s agricultural industry

The Netherlands plans to invest 4 million euros in Ghana's agricultural sector to strengthen economic and bilateral relations.

Announced by H.E. Mrs. Lieje Schreinemacher, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, this initiative aims to support sustainable and scalable farming practices, contributing to food security.

At the Fruits and Vegetables Fair in Adenta, Robert Asugre from IDH highlighted efforts to address horticulture industry challenges by engaging stakeholders to enhance productivity and meet high demand.

The fair, organized by the Horticultural Business Platform, featured 25 vendors and aims to expand regionally to support horticultural businesses.
