New LPG levy: COPEC threatens legal action against NPA

The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) has hinted of suing the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) over the introduction of a new levy on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

The NPA, in a directive has asked industry players to begin charging 13.5 pesewas on each kilogram of LPG from April 1, 2020.
