The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, announced that a bill has been introduced in Parliament to streamline MSME operations by consolidating registration and certification processes from various regulatory agencies.
This legislation aims to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and establish strict timelines for obtaining necessary permits.
Additionally, the Ghana Mall, launched by the Ghana Enterprises Agency in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, will support over 800 local MSMEs by providing a marketplace for their products, enhancing market access, and promoting employment.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the MSME sector, crucial for Ghana's economic growth.
